Romanian Public Entities Request EUR 760.4 Million for Solar and Energy Storage

On 1 November 2026, Romanian public entities had submitted grant applications totalling EUR 760.4 million for solar generation and electricity storage through two AFIR funding calls. The combined requests exceeded the available funding allocation, demonstrating strong demand for renewable-energy projects.
